So to keep things simple, I used the Piry.exe, got all the files, reinstalled 4 times, and whenever I hit play on the launcher, it crashes. There is no error message or even a trace of what happened, it just crashes. I see that normally when you hit play a command window is supposed to open but it doesn't open for me and proceeds to crash. Any help would be appreciated.

      Try these:

      1. Install redist https://drive.google.com/u/0/uc?id=1gG_DXaZfAUETfXaYJzCP36ImvE_bO_x9&export=download

      2. Verify that your launcher and/or bo2 files are not being blocked by your firewall or antivirus.

If neither works, please send a screenshot of your game files.

Yeah download and install the redists and directx, if that doesn't work, you might be having McAfee. Its known to cause issues with the game, uninstall it.

Yo_Angelo would I just use the .exe in the redist folder or do I put the folder in the BO2 files?

Extract them wherever you want, you can delete them afterwards. Run the redists and dxsetup.exe inside the directx folder.
