Me and my brother both launched in LAN mode. I then went into a custom game, and told him to write this in console: connect <my IPv4>. That didn't work as he couldn't connect. I then told him to add the port (4976) to the end of the command. That didn't work either. Help?

Dss0 Yeah I entered the custom match then just paused it. I don't know if it's the correct one, it's the only one that showed up when I typed in ipconfig to the Windows command prompt lol.

Did you ensure to add a firewall rule to allow for UDP traffic on port 4976 to Windows Firewall?

@qntm Yes, but only in Windows. Since you are playing LAN you do not need to open the port to the world, just your home network. You can find a decent article on how to do so here. Just note that the game uses UDP, not TCP (which is selected by default).
