Connection Interrupted Constantly

Recently downloaded and setup T6 Black Ops II to play Zombies with a friend. He doesn't have any issues because he's the host, but I am constantly getting connection interrupted and lag spikes. It my just be his shiternet, but I know it's not a problem with mine as I am a network technician and set my equipment up myself and have the best fiber connection available, I'll try hosting and see if it's better. I just wanted to check here to see if there is any known bugs or something in the settings I may have to adjust to fix it?
