I don't have a official response but after looking at forums and the discord, it looks like its allowed but use at your own risk. I haven't seen one person get banned from it and if they did, it was because they were actually cheating.

mikey Thank you for your reply, but, as I said before, it would be better if the community could get an official response on this topic once and for all.

Manux323 Take it how you want it but i'm almost 95% sure it's not bannable. The question was asked the first hour of the new anticheat update and it seemed to work.
-
yes I've been using reshade since the new anticheat update without issue any issues whatsoever so far.

Thanks to you all for the answers. I will give it a try. Which executable did you guys apply Reshade to?
-
Manux323 apply it to the bootstrapper in appdata

Okay, so I installed Reshade and played BO2 Multiplayer for a while without any problem. HOWEVER, zombies actually crashes around 6 minutes into any match due to Reshade, with the "Oops! Plutonium T6 ran into a problem and must be closed." error message (which, if you look for it in the forums you can see that it is caused by using overlays or cheat engine). So there you go, Reshade is safe in mp, but not in Zombies. I hope this post has been helpful to the community. If there is a dev who is willing to give some more information on the topic, be welcome, but i think we have the answers to the question.
