Cheats who toggle uav hacks

Hi Plutonium. As an elderly member who just sighned up would like to say good try to try to make a platform without hackers but from playing for a few days i see there are plenty of uav hackers who toggle hacks and i try to report them and it says not enough arguments. I have played bo2 on steam for years and can pick cheat so ez but too many servers with cheats and from what i can see i cant report them so i will have to uninstall. Thought i might be able to actually play without hackers but obviously not. Sad cause i was going to donate $500 to this platform but can see i was very dissapointed nothing will happen to cheats in the lobby. Very sad to see. goodbye

ninja636 first time i've heard of that issue. I haven't encountered a single cheater in bo2. Also what do you mean by "not enough arguments"? How or where are you trying to report them?

trying to report them through server and it says not enough arguments. i can pick a uav hacker from a mile away plutonium staff its so ez to see on replay aiming b4 they even see me i was very excited to see this platform but have found too many uav wallers who toggle on and off. If you want me to record video footage of this let me know and i will do so. If you would like someone to try stamp out these hackers i could do that for you but not going to play this until i see something happen guys i fukin hate hackers with a passion but if you want video footage i can do that for you to show what i mean?

Sounds like you tried to report a cheater in-game. The servers on Plutonium are not owned by us, we just make the client itself. Since the release of Plutonium, we have banned a total of 2318 users for cheating. These are all automated bans by the anti-cheat. On average, the anti-cheat bans about 30-40 cheaters per day.
If you think someone is hacking in-game, please make a report thread on the forum. We can't see reports you make in-game.
We're always working on improving the anti-cheat. If a new public hack pops up, we try to get it detected as soon as possible. Currently we are not aware of any public cheats that work on either MW3 or BO2.

Just record the game and upload the video on streamable or youtube and just make a thread on the forum. In the thread please include the username of the person that is cheating. Also include the server name it happened on.

ok will do. But i hope you guys can tell if there is someone hacking? I have faith in you. I will send footage just once and hope you agree with me ay. If there is no uav up and someone preaims me in a spot where i hiding its obvious they are hacking straight up. I have put 5000hrs into bo2 on steam and can tell a hacker within 2 deaths. I will try to record and display for you but if nothing happens i'm done with bo2. Last few months on bo2 steam i have seen number of players go down from 2000 to 160 players cause of these game wrecking assholes and bo2 on steam is dead now because of spinbot aimbotters its so sad to see i am passionate about this game and almost cry to see what hackers have done to it

Our anti-cheat is way better than the anti-cheat on Steam. Steam has tons of other issues as well. If the user in question is cheating, we will make sure that he will be banned from Plutonium.

Rektinator if your anticheat works better than steams how come when they put it on its not picked up?

"Plenty of UAV hackers" - I see this as highly unlikely as there have been over 1500+ bans since the anticheat has been introduced into IW5 & T6

For reporting cheaters, I server owners would ideally be running IW4MAdmin on the server and allow for users to report by typing "!r <username> <reason>". Maybe you were missing the reason argument when trying to report.
Servers with cheats is a different story. Servers are ran by people within the community, so anyone can open their own server and enforce any rules they choose (even if its ridiculous). So there is a possibility you've ran into a server with ridiculous rules. (I've seen servers where "Admins" get aimbot, so I wouldn't put it past server owners to do the same with UAV)ninja636 said in Cheats who toggle uav hacks:

If you're still not convinced, then go ahead and uninstall. I'm just trying to put in my two cents as I've been playing Plutonium T6 since BEFORE the anticheat was added. The problem with cheaters was significantly worse 6 months ago. I haven't seen a single cheater since the anticheat was added personally

Like i give this guy grief because of his spinbot aimbot on bo2 steam. Next what happened i cant believe. I played apex legends and these hackers were able to join my team on another platform i dont think you realise how goos some of these hackers are it might be out of your league

For one thing, Steam BO2 anti-cheat does nothing, it bans literally no one. Our anti-cheat detects all public hacks for BO2. If the user in question made his own cheat, then it might be possible that our anti-cheat does not pick it up yet. It could also be that the user is simply not cheating, but the server you played on is using a shitty mod which gives him an advantage. For that we need you to supply the proof. If we think the user in question is cheating, we will ban the user from the game and he will not be able to play on Plutonium ever again.
Detecting cheats is a cat-and-mouse game, if a user finds a new way to cheat, we will have to update our code to detect it. The user gets banned. A new user finds a way to cheat, we detect it, the user gets banned, and so on.
Besides that, server owners can always manually ban a player if they think the user is cheating. That way the problem can be countered too.
Like I said, we try our best to stop cheaters as much as possible, and I think we have done a really good job so far, especially compared to Steam BO2.
Finally, you have to understand that this is also a hobby project for us. We have our jobs in real-life which take up most of our time, I spend a lot of my free time every day to make Plutonium better.

I understand Rektinator truly i do and i not trying to be an asshole believe me in that i have read your statistics about game bans and its great to see to your credit i understand bud. when i seen this platform i thought holy shit i might be able to play bo2 again. I still think its the best cod ever made. And to be honest i was ready to donate a good sum of money to help you guys out and maybe pay for some of those hrs you put into it and would have liked to put some input into it. It was good for the first few games i was having fun. Then i joined an oce server and found a guy uav hacking on that. I thought ok maybe i'll keep joining usa servers and had a few great games but tonight i found 2 people using uav hacks and it just turned me off it again. Will get some vid footage for you hopefully you will understand what it trying to do here. Cheers mate
