    Basically what the title says. I installed my steam copy of BO2, downloaded Plutonium etc and whenever I want to play BO2 via the launcher, it opens a cmd box with an Exception Code: 0xC0000005 error.

    Any help would be much appreciated

        luigistyle Exception Address: 0x2FB71A8C.

        I realised that I don't have the DLCs included on Steam, just the base game. Is this related to the issue by any chance?

          paulisca23 It shouldn't make you crash on startup, but not having the DLC files will (obviously) not let you play on DLC maps, as the files are not present

            luigistyle Alright, I'll try to give as much info as possible:

            • when I first downloaded the game via Steam, all modes would crash with the unhandled exception request error (on W10). Installed an older version of DX that was present in the installation folder alongside some redistributables and it still wouldn't run. Disabling Rivatuner's Stealth mode worked and I could get into the "original" game;

            • downloaded the plutonium launcher, placed it on desktop, it did its thing, selected play on BO2 and that critical exception starts appearing.

            • excluded the BO2 folder from all Malwarebytes scans, still nothing

            Right now, I'm downloading the missing DLC files from the torrent you provided and I will try to exclude that plutonium folder from appdata/local and see if it works. Have you encountered this issue before?

                FIXED

                Went to the plutonium folder in users, copied the ZM and MP exes from it and pasted them into the main folder and ran the launcher exe from the folder with admin rights.
