How do i get the bo2 shortcut icon?

i can only start the game via the platinum launcher

My guess is is that you can't get the shortcuts anymore because one of the things that would be used can no longer be used. It started with a P I think but it isn't used no longer so using the launcher is the only method so far. But i've got to say I like the launcher because it fit's all three games into one. MW3, BO2, and BO2 Zombies. It is a masterpiece.

@XTRA-Ordinary yes i love the the simplicity of it but my knowledge stops there, cant get mod menus injected that way or then im just stupid

GeorgeFloyd4L you can't indeed. And you shouldn't try to either because it will get you banned. If you want to try injecting something (even tho idk if there is even a working injector for pluto) you have to start the game in lan mode (click the arrow next to the play button). Another way to play with mods is to set up a dedicated server and load mods on there. The pluto launcher is the only way you can and should start the game.

The game can only be started from the launcher.
The launcher is required to perform client updates and authenticate you. -
