Is there any way to compress the file but keep all the content it has to a large extent, like to around 2 or 3 GB? Otherwise until I get a better memory disk I wont be getting it.

n00bie no, large parts of the game are compressed already. Max. compression you could achieve would prolly decrease filesize by 100-200MB.

Dss0 I see. That's still a fairly large file though, if you see where I'm coming from?

This puts "large" in perspective. But yet, I'd take BO2 any day of the week, worth making room for!

I do not see where you are coming from. 13GB is a very small size for the game files. Storage is very cheap and for perspective the latest call of duty install size is 200GB.

All I can suggest is deleting the in game videos. They are found in Call of Duty Black Ops II\video but this only saves 250mb...

WietPot I understand what you mean, BO2 is absolutely worth it. If I bought a memory card of.. Say; 30 GB, would I be able to download and extract it to there, then use that to play it on my laptop, It'll work, run and play smoothly?

n00bie download? yes. extract? not necessary. Play smoothly? prolly not, maps might take very long to load.
Why don't you just free up some space on your laptop's hdd?

Dss0 Lenovo Yoga 300 lmao, its not ancient, but its not brand spanking new either, I've had it about... 4 years, just about. I don't see why It wouldn't, the CPU and everything are all up to date.

Dss0 Any way I could heighten that to at least 20fps?(A decent framerate lul)

Furthermore, storage wise, its clear to see I probably cant free up all that room for it. And even if I could, I would be surprised if it could manage more than 5fps, let alone 15/20fps.

I honestly want to be able to play BO2 mostly for the zombies experience, but it seems as though it is highly unlikely to do so without causing major damage to my computer from deleting all I have on here-

n00bie ofc you'd have to get an external storage device. But i'd say save your money for a pc that can actually run games because that one can't.

Dss0 Fair enough, I'll either get it on an external device just to play on 5fps for now. Then when I get a proper PC I can just get it all done on there, no problem.

Thank you for your time, effort and helpful advice.
                                  Good day to you 🙂

I'd also suggest buying an SSD when you can, a 250GB one would help with your storage problems and the speed itself.

But as Dsso said, the CPU would struggle anyway.

But yeah - SSD, one of the best things I bought. A 250GB one is relatively cheap compared to other PC parts.
