How do you start the client and server without internet?

Hi so how do you host n LAN server and play with this new update if you don't have internet the launcher wont open and server gives a error since it can't sent a heartbeat did i miss something?

See the small arrow beside play? Click it and that will launch lan. As for playing with each other, you need to port forward and give your ip. It's all detailed in the guide, read it

Yes i know about that.

Before the update one could start the server and client without internet

Now nothing works you can't even open the launcher or start the server if you do not have internet connected switch on internet then it works

Are there any plans on fixing/bringing back the offline mode (no internet needed) to host or start the game?

Offline mode is still possible, however I got told not to share it anymore. The launcher will get a full offline functionality.

The only reason is why i am asking for offline mode is i host a server on our network called CTWUG and since most of the users do not have any internet connection and with the new updates they can not start the client to play anymore.

x7razor_za TBH you could also set-up a proxy that does forward the traffic to Pluto. It's not a lot of bandwidth after all. But yeah, its coming at some point.
