Good morning, I can't view anymore one of my posts. It was a guide on how to get Plutonium working on Windows 7, by simply creating a pair of links.
Did it got removed/hidden by moderators? If so, why you didn't alert me?

AlphaJack what you posted is not something we recommend people do, fucking with system files is always a bad idea. Besides even if ppl managed to get their game to start using that we wouldn't give them any support if they experienced issues because we don't support win7. All it does is dump more work onto moderators/tech support.

Dss0 I explicitely wrote in the first line that Win7 is not supported by the Plutonium staff, exactly because I wouldn't like to give the false impression that you would spend your time giving support to users following that little guide.

Why didn't you simply add a comment stressing (again) that no support for Win7 will be given by the staff, instead of hiding the only guide that shows that the game can run on Win7?

Apart from that, I wouldn't consider creating a link from xinput1_3.dll to xinput1_4.dll as dangerous as fucking with system files in other ways, like deleting things.

yea because ppl reading that totally care about this and totally wouldn't come cry on the forum for help afterwards... you don't know the community then.

because it's the 90th time someone posted this shit, i cba anymore to reply anymore. i'll just move it to the trash.

it doesn't matter how "severe" it is.

          • we don't want ppl to use win7
          • we don't support outdated software like win7
          • we don't want ppl to use "workarounds" either as it only dumps more work on us

no offense to you personally, i'm sure you just wanted to help.
