Question about Steam tracking after latest update

The update said that Steam will track our time played again but after playing MW3 and Black Ops 2 ZM the time didn't increase. Am I doing something wrong?

Make sure Steam is running and make sure you actually own the game on Steam. If you don't own the game, it won't track your hours.

I own both of the games on steam and I made sure Steam was running

Hi, just wanted to update you and say that the game is tracking the time for mw3 mp. I assumed it wasn't working because mw3 mp wasn't showing on my recent played or in the steam overlay.
