p6r1s put it here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3
Then do what I told you on steam.
(Steam> library> add a game> add a non-steam game> browse> (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3) > PLUTONIUM.exe) -

xDailey Are you serious?
I'm helping you
YOU MUST DOWNLOAD "MODERN WARFARE 3 DEDICATED SERVER ON STEAM THEN DOWNLOAD HERE plutonium.exe: http://cdn.plutonium.pw/updater/plutonium.exe
ADD "PLUTONIUM.exe" here (C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Steam \ steamapps \ common \ Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3)
THEN ADD THIS TO STEAM (Steam> library> add a game> add a non-steam game> browse> (C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Steam \ steamapps \ common \ Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3)> PLUTONIUM.exe )
THEN LAUNCH IT AND CONNECT WITH THE FORUM IDENTIFIERS -
That’s literally what I did do I start up Pluto or mw3
-
sorry but i had mw3 on harddrive d did not know it had to be on c because yesterday it worked fine and it was on d so sorry again

xDailey "Modern Warfare dedicated server" allows you to have the basic game files.
You don't have to run it you just have to add the file plutonium.exe in the game file (C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Steam \ steamapps \ common \ Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3)
Then you have to go to steam add a non steam game and select "PLUTONIUM" .exe "and you launch and it works.
I can't do anything else for you, sorry
-
i dont know if you can see the image did everything you said but it still doesnt work
-
Mate just help me
-
xDailey Give me the error
-
thats the problem there is no error it just closes
-
xDailey Ok,update directx and Download Visual C++ Redistributable
-
yunagz said in Game start up:
(C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Steam \ steamapps \ common \ Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3)
i did this added it to steam as a non steam game and still it closes down but my anti virus said it deleted something but i redownloaded plutonium so that can not be the problem -

xDailey OMG,
it does not work because your antivirus blocks the file you must add an exception for this file.
You had to tell me earlier
