By default, VPNs are not being blocked, but most server admins decide to block them, in order to prevent people from using a VPN to bypass bans.

Just out of curiosity: Do you have a reason to use a VPN?

What Michaili said, the only ones blocking VPNs are the servers themselves, and that is because cheaters use them to evade IP bans. Nothing we can or will do.

This has nothing to do with lags, as Emosewaj already mentioned most users using a VPN to game are using it by bypass server bans. You can thank the 12 year olds that though they are so smart doing that.
