Can't seem to get past startup

Every time I go through the startup, it gets the command prompt open and such, but almost immediately just remains on a black screen permanently. No clue as to why this might be happening, as even if I don't tab out from it, it never ends up loading.

Make sure your gpu drivers are updated, also try alt tabbing out to the bootstrapper window, and writing r_fullscreen 0 and vid_restart in it.
