Banned for using GSC?

Hello fellow people,
i haven't been banned (thankfully) but i use a mod menu for custom play on zombies.
My question is:
Can you be banned for leaving the "_clientids.gsc" (mod menu) in the correct folder and then starting a public match?
I don't want to take any chances, because i will for sure forget about this.

Nah, unless you're injecting something or tampering with game's memory in any way, that's not gonna get you banned.
