controller stopped working

this morning i was playing multiplayer and zombies with my wireless controller, everything was perfectly working. Then i close the game, came back later and played again, but the controller doesn't seems to be recognised at all anymore even tought it's still plugged in and turned on.

so i tried playing other games on my pc that have controller support ( not on steam ) and the controller was perfectly working, so it happens only on waw.

Someone can help ?

maybe it can only work once after the pc is booted
did you try restarting?
