Regarding emblems...

So, I just installed plutonium, and got to play BO2 for the first time. The thing is, I wanted to create an emblem, but when I saved it, it was no longer there. I explored through the forum and found a post from july 2020 that said emblems couldn't be saved yet, is this still true today? Is this just a bug with my client? If so, why does it happen to my friends too? Thanks in advance
