cant start a match with phone hotspot

a friend of mine and I are trying to play together, but we can't connect, I noticed that when he presses f10 and goes to network at the bottom it says "LPnP does not work, It is either disabled on your router or your network is not marked as Private in your Windows settings. ", Obviously we checked and on windows the network is marked as private. so we thought that the problem could be that it is not connected to a router, since it does not have wifi and plays with is phone hotspot. we would like to know if that's why and if somehow it can be fixed. thank you

BruceKetta yes that's why. You could try using hamachi and connecting manually via the console using the hamachi ip of the host.
