I was coding for about 5 hours today because I had a lot of free time and decided to make a GSC Mod Menu for fun to use in the server. Thought my buddy was gonna be proud and you know, appreciate it. Turns out, I randomly get logged out of the VPS. 5 minutes later, I lose all access to it and lose my code I put hours into. Kinda hurts because I took the time to get half the code from deep parts of forums and half the other time coding it myself from knowledge of C#. Hey it sucks but its whatever. Life goes on

Backups are always key. Maybe look into version control software? I feel you though, its no fun.

homura Should have backed up while i had the chance. Fell for a trap. I had too much fun coding, which never happens. I was having so much fun, I couldn't stop the constant updates and improvements for the server.

Emosewaj Because sometimes I dont have a pc with me (mother and father divorced) and so I tend to rely on the VPS to hold the files.

mikzy I suggest you use Google Drive, 15GB of free and a much better solution. It's a shit situation but we've all been in it before.
