Wrong Folder and can't find Plutonium folder
-
Hi, i took the wrong folder at the setup. I read in other posts that i should delete the config.json but i dont have a Plutonium folder. What can I do now?

Currently, there is a bug with the launcher that will prevent you from changing your game folder location, so you have to manually fix that for now.
Go to your start menu and type
run
Open this program, it will show a text box, in this text box type%localappdata%
then press the enter key
It will open a folder in the explorer. Now locate the folder calledplutonium
Right-click and delete that folder. Now when you launch the launcher again thesetup
button will be visible allowing you re-select your game folder. -
Thanks for your answer. I donwloaded Plutonium, but i dont have a folder of it

germansausages Yes you do, this is where the launcher stores what folder you picked. So deleting it resets the launcher, giving you the setup button, therefore allowing you to reselect your folder.

H3X1C thanks, but i searched in my hole computer, there is no. when i start plutonium it shows this: Failed to create installation directory C:\Users\Flo\AppData\Local\Plutonium: mkdir C:\Users\Flo\AppData\Local\Plutonium. then it says; access denied

germansausages Try restarting your pc, then try again and if that issue occurs again it means your antivirus is preventing it create that folder.

Hi, I have the same problem and I already deleted the folder of plutonium, and is all right until I want to set up the game again it doesn´t appear the folder of Call of Duty what can I do?
-
The aforementioned bug is no longer there, you didn't need to delete your Plutonium folder. Anyways, run Pluto again to download the client files, and when it launches, click on game settings beside PLAY on the launcher which should prompt you to select your bo2 folder.
And you really had to revive a 6 month old post...
