Hello, been wondering how I can run a custom fovScale by default instead of having to input it every match I join. Can that be done by running a custom cfg (and if so, how?) or a console command? Thanks in advance.

JK-OM idk about a way to get it automatically on each startup but a workaround is to bind the command to a key and press that key when you enter in-game (actually in-game not in main menu)

You can use this command in console
      /bind P "/cg_fovScale 1.2"
Of course replace P with any other unused key and replace 1.2 with the desired value. Keep the quotes (") on the command else it won't work

JK-OM you probably did something wrong like forgetting a /, not using quotes, binding to a wrong/already in use key or something. Works for me

Did an exact copy and paste of the command you typed out, and no, P wasn't bound to anything. Doesn't take effect.

@lResxt I just tested this myself because I was pretty sure you can't create custom keybinds in T6.

                Unsurprisingly, it didn't work.

If it actually does work for you I would definitely be interested in knowing the actual method since it would be relevant for testing mods among other things.

JezuzLizard know any other workarounds/solutions for my problem?
I know of running a minimum fov command to change ADS, but that also messes with the sniper rifles, which is unfortunate.
