Join public servers with friends

Is it possible to join public servers with a friend as a party? I'm wanting to play public matches with my wife, but I'd want to be able to be on the same team, like the retail party system. We are on the same network, so we can connect via LAN. I've tried searching the forum, but haven't found any concrete answers.

XEntombmentX no, parties don't work in plutonium atm.

Getting fed up of having to scroll through the same posts each visit? When you register for an account, you'll always come back to exactly where you were before, and choose to be notified of new replies (either via email, or push notification).
