Controller with DS4 is not working

I've tried restarting both programs even my computer as well. I also have mw3 downloaded and when i go on there it works fine. But for some reason it is not working in Bo2. On DS4 windows it shows all buttons of my controller working. So I assume it has to do something with my game but don't know what to do. Any solutions?

if you start pluto through steam you should get a working controller in-game

Tqhr I do not have bo2 on steam. Tried turning on and off controller settings in steam to still no help
