Is there a way to change region for customs in BO2 Zombies and Multiplayer?

I want to play with some friends but we live on different continents and when I join them I lag constantly and vice versa so we were wondering if there was any way to change the regions so we get equal ping.

Luke_Was_Taken no, you are directly connected to your friends, there is no server in between.
