blackscreen after launching and extreme lag in the menu

I've been using plutonium to play cod waw for a couple days and it was working just fine but now it gives a black screen then after a long time the game goes into menu and I can hear choppy music. in the task manager I can see the cpu utilization is high and it even caused my pc to stop taking any commands and I had to shut it down using the power button. what is causing this issue?

16GB ram
GT 1030 2gb Gddr5 -
@darius98 windows defender was responsible for this, I added plutonium folder to the exclusion list and it's working now.
