DE4DF1NGER question who want to remove the crosshair?

Since I have not seen a way to make an invisible crosshair in BO2, I decided to find one and do it myself.

To install it they must place it in their game folder and open the location t6r / data / images.
Step 1. Set sv_cheats to 1

DE4DF1NGER Clearly you didn't do it right then because I just tested it on Origins and it worked first try.
Maybe try this then(don't copy quotation marks):
Open the console with `
Paste in the console:
"sv_cheats 1"
Press enter.
Paste in the console:
"cg_drawCrosshair 0"
Press enter.You will have no crosshair once the last command is entered.
Alternatively, GSC can use
SetClientDvar( "cg_drawCrosshair", 0 );to do the same. -

aaplmxs without commands, it would only need a empty texture of the hitmarker itself, if the file is named correctly (i think its damage_feedback so it might be all good to just place in the images folder and its done)

AdrX003 Thank you very much for your file and your enthusiastic help. I succeeded, but it can only be used in multiplayer mode. Single player mode cannot be used. The specific iwi file is in the ipak file. I can now extract the iwi file and modify it. After repackaging into ipak file, is it the same？but I don't know how to pack iwi into ipak.

aaplmxs with singleplayer you mean campaign? if thats the case i dont know how you would be able to use custom textures in the game. maybe with some redacted patches, theres an old one that had singleplayer so custom textures to it could be loaded the same way.
if you put the custom texture in your plutonium images folder and load steam's BO2 version to play campaign im pretty sure nothing to do with plutonium with is loaded so no texture patches (the ones we let in the images folder) are loaded into the game.
i also dont own BO2 Steam, i only buy games with mod tools to do stuff so BO2 will be the last of them.
