Xbox Controller Doesnt Work

I connected my controller and it didint work windows detected it i move the joystick or touch any buttons nothing shows up like the icons dont change to xbox

Bro one friend told me to fix the error you have to connect the control usb at the computer and the computer have to detect the USB
