Help with Zombie Count

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get a zombie count on Black Ops 2. I've searched everywhere and found some stuff but I just didn't understand it. so could someone help telling me how to do it by explaining it to me like i'm a 5 year old please. Thanks.
