lag spikes while shooting

game was running smooth months ago and i tried playing today and i get sudden spikes while consistently running 200+fps

48gb ram -
Does it still happen wen you limit your FPS to 200?

I had the exact same problem as this, I fixed it by moving the game install from my external drive to my internal drive, I assume an SSD will improve it even more. Not sure if it'll help you but it may help others.
