Joining a friends game

We both can see ourselves but we cant fix the private match, so we cant join each other.

Resxt first thing we did is followed each other, then we created a BO2 zombie lobby, and we see them in the plutonium tab f10 friends... it states that we need to be in game for them to join, but it always says that he is in a private lobby and us friends cant join. We clicked his name but nothing happens.

FuzzCake he needs to be in-game playing with a weapon and all that to be joined, yes.
Private lobby is correct because it's private to friends only, no issue here.
The one who's hosting has to allow the connection.
