it would take quite a wile to make all the textures go through GigaPixelAI but looks like a cool project to do.
unfortunately i dont know how this could end up affecting game loading time or any other thing, we would first need to know if the game is still loading the original game textures before the external /images folder, cuz its aloooooot of textures.
AdrX003 that would be like 5G of textures IF you get rid of the textures that are just for 3d, getting rid of them is tedious but making it hd its ez, just leave your pc on all night. In bo1 theres a limit of 32MB per texture so in bo2 should be the same or more (32 MB is 10k x 10k pixels) and no, this wont affect the game unless you messed up the image size, if you do that its going to show black or crash the game.
I wont do all the textures as i said in the post but good luck finding them all and getting rid of the 3d files and stuff -

AdrX003 That shouldnt be a problem for most people, i have most of my textures at 4096x4096 pixels and still same fps

how do i install it?
artour go to your game folder, then open the data folder, then the images (if you dont see it make it) and drop the files there
