Me and my friend want to play together on a private match, We had the UPnP problem that others have faced because his router didn't support it, so we decided to play on my router and it says that UPnP is enabled for both of us, but when we click on each others name it says its joining then nothing happens. We are following each other, we are on the same network, UPnP is enabled. I dont understand why we cant join each other. Please help

W187 if you're on the same network use the console to directly connect to the other pc via it's lan ip.

      connect 192.168.x.x

W187 did the host start the match and has spawned on the map before letting someone else connect? If someone outside your network can't connect forward port 4976 udp on your router.

Yes we start the match before we join. We haven't had a problem with others joining yet. All we want is to start a normal match and allow my friend on the same network to join. While also allowing others to join us
