Plutonium increasing mic volume?

so when I start up black ops 2 multiplayer or zombies through plutonium, it increases my mic gain to 100% volume? idk what is causing this, and I saw that FaZe Jev had the same issue in his plutonium video he made a few weeks ago. Anyone have a solution/workaround to this? Thanks.

cinderblock try disabling "allow applications to take exclusive control of this device" in your mic options
System -> Sound -> Device properties below your mic -> Additional device properties -> advanced

cinderblock You can also set the games' microphone volume to the same that you use in Windows. Hope that helps.
