is there a way of launching bo2 from the plutonium launcher. this would just clean up my desktop

diEcEvo Move your black ops 2 folder to the new spot. To set the new path in the launcher: Open the launcher, select T6 Multiplayer (or zombies), click the Game Settings button and select the new path to your black ops 2 installation folder.

diEcEvo If you mean Black Ops 2 by "it": No, you don't need to have the game from Steam but we really recommend that because you'll have the latest version of Black ops 2 and the files are complete.
