Lost all of my progress?

I decided to start playing BO2 in a way similar to that of the glory days in that I would progress normally. I have played for some time and even got my 5th gun gold in multiplayer. I logged on today and found that all of my progress is gone, and the loading screen looked different. Instead of loading up and only having the "Online" and the "Settings" options available as soon as it booted up, I saw a screen similar to owning a legit copy of the game. I did download the game through a link in order to get BO2 for free, so maybe the problem lies there, but it had been fine for a few days. If this is a known bug, can I get a link to restore my progress? I know that I didn't restart it through the console or the button made available in the ranked tab.

As Pista said above, we've had to make the change to reset stats due to a change in the lobby system.

Hi!

The setplayerdata commands are not working for me

I type setplayerdata prestige 2 and nothing changes I've restarted the client, tried in and out of game to no avail?

@Mr-Android just to mention two things; when you tab out of the game the client crashes, giving you an error of "an error occurred bla bla bla".

And also when trying to search in Public Match it instantly sends you back to the multiplayer screen. Giving the error screen that says "An error occured while trying to find a session, please try again" and so on. I can provide what the cmd says when the game crashes also. Just curious for my own desires - will the Public Matches be fixed in a future update?

Thanks for that - the public matches button shouldn't be visable, it's a bug from us as we only use dedicated servers and we used to hide the button automatically.

We will look into the alt tabbing crash.

XHIBIT Matchmaking was never supported, if you want to play with bots, start a custom game in the multiplayer menu and turn on bots and then press start game.

@Mr-Android that's weird because I was always able to start the game and at the top it'd say 'Ranked' where if I selected that I was able to select a mode and such like you would with normal matchmaking/public matches. I could play with friends and everything it worked as intended if it was.
