Joining a game causes the game to freeze

My game keeps crashing after the latest update. When I try to load into a game, the game freezes. I need to close the game in task manager when this happens. The last lines of CMD Plutonium are always as follows:
Unloading fastfile ui_zm
Unloading fastfile en_ui_zm
Unloading fastfile patch_ui_zmReplace zm with mp when starting multiplayer.
I have tried reinstalling the game and reinstalling Plutonium (including removing the Plutonium folder in %appdata%), but nothing has helped me out.

I fixed the problem for myself. Here's how I did it:
Close plutonium and BO2.
Unpin from taskbar
open .exe for plutonium
pin that one to taskbar

Seems like joining a server too quickly after starting the game causes this - wait for a few seconds and let the serverlist populate, once its done, then try connecting to the server.
