Public Match not working

When I go into Public Match, I can't execute xpartygo due to maps not showing up for vote. How can I fix this?

me too i'cant get xp bot anymore so sad its the only reason why i'am play bo2 plutonium

Samurai98 not sure what you mean, did that work before? Since there is no matchmaking the public match menu only serves to create classes and edit your profile. I assume any leftover matchmaking functionality was only there by accident and has been removed.

Dss0 hi Staff, yes before the update I could launch matches like on the real bo2 and we used xpartygo to launch the match but since the patch there is no longer the button to find a game

Dss0 Are you guys able to put that back in as some people like to play with bots too? It was a good accident believe me

please re add this functionality, the faq thread thats pinned says you can use xpartygo to start a game and add bots using the spawnbots command but it seems like its been removed :c

sorry for the doublepost but i found a kinda workaround until it gets re-added: you can do xstartpartyhost from the menu then xpartygo and your friend can join on you

Samurai98 it won't be added back but you can host a dedicated server with bots, you will rank up playing against them. Or just join a dedi that has bots on it (awog for example).

that takes so much more time and effort to set up, getting the bot warfare plugin set up and creating a separate install with the server, port forwarding and all that nonsense, why cant we just use the way that works easily? why remove it?

shares5 as i said i don't think that was ever intentionally added, it just worked randomly. It's probably no longer possible because of the lobby stuff/dw emulation that has now been added. There are also other reasons why leaving this in will sooner or later cause issues, i can't disclose any of that tho.

Dss0 since that feature is deleted (as intendent) is it possible to add some kind of "ranked mode" to custom games? it was there in oldest releases of pluto like years ago (r300+). I think it would be cool to have, like run custom games with friends and bots and rank up. Some feature like combat training in bo1. (And since the bo1 in development, please, beg u, dont delete the combat training, just dont)

public match will be a thing soon, there will be no ranking up against bots tho. If you can't play against real players for some reason you have to set up your own server with bots or join one.

Dss0 real players are too good and setting up a server is too inconvenient, why you have to remove the ability to rank up vs bots i have no idea, it was fun just playing casually with my friends without having to mess with dedicated server stuff.
also there are like 3 whole servers with a decent amount of bots, two of them have scorestreaks disabled and one is constantly full, its just so inconvenient, there are a few other servers with bots but its like 3 bots on each side and its just unplayable

Serotonia yes on dedis you rank up against bots like you would against normal players. Future updates to the service will not reset progression, this was a one time thing as the way stats are handled changed and they are saved online now.

I guess they removed it because they needed to make money from the servers. They couldn't explain it in this beautiful language. When everyone played Ranked, there was no definite return. There may also have been a message from Activision such as SM2 mode.

H4RDLINE gotta love people like you making false claims based on literally nothing. Plutonium does not earn anything from any source other than donations. If there were no servers at all and everyone was playing in custom games it wouldn't change anything for the team behind Plutonium. Dedicated server hosting has always been free. What is not free is having someone give you a powerful computer that runs your servers 24/7. This is logical and not related to Plutonium
