waw campaign keeps freezing
-
first mission freezes and stops working a few seconds after i send the truck full of oil tanks down
i used the command unlockall and played the 2nd mission (it worked fine, no crashes) third mission however crashed at random points
i think it might have something to do with the over the top particle effects, as it usually happened when there were massive explosions or over use of the flamethrower
don't have this problem in zombies or multiplayer at all
any help would be great, cheers
-
cretin107 we don't support the campaign.
-
Dss0 But why you add a coop campaign in the game?
-
ShaheenGK we didn't, the game already had that.
-
Dss0 thanks for information
-
Dss0 thanks, but in the plutonium launcher it says coop/zombies? why does it have to be included there?
-
cretin107 because zombies and sp are the same exe you can't get one without the other.
With games like BO2 that have separate mp, zm and sp we don't provide sp since it's not our goal. Here that's just how the game is.
Campaign is there and might or might not work but we don't support it so if it stops working it will probably not be fixed since it's not what the team is working for -
cretin107 search for LanFix on UGX forums, same site we usually go to find custom maps and tools for modding.
Hope its ok to leave this piece of information, if im about to have the account terminated for citing "stuff that the team is not working on" someone can just say and i delete this.

AdrX003 ty bro, it worked
is there any possible way of linking the LanFix version with plutonium? so it might use that version when i launch the campaign?
-
cretin107 nope, it needs to be ran separated, you could just make a shortcut, i guess.
-
AdrX003 ok thanks man

Hey guys, how did you manage to make the coop work with the LanFix? I saw that tunngle is down and not sure what other options I have?
-
Hamachi should work, although you need to install a broadcast fix for it to make the servers show up in the LAN server list.
-
YaF3li Thanks for the response. Do you know where can I get the fix and how to operate it? I
-
I zipped it up, download here.
Firstly, you need to install NpCap (setup is included as npcap-1.60.exe) on your system once. Leave the option for WinPCap compatibility enabled.
When Hamachi is running and connected, do this:
- Run HamachiBroadcastFixGUI.exe
- Select your LAN adapter (Ethernet or WiFi) as the input device if it isn't already pre-selected
- Select your Hamachi network adapter as the output device if it isn't already pre-selected
- Click "Start"
If it works you should see the message "Broadcast packet forwarded successfully." appear in the log when you open a LAN game or server browser. And of course you should see each others' LAN games in the LAN browser.
Hope that helps!
-
cretin107 the campaign is pay to play.
-
YaF3li Thank you bro, we can see each other on the LAN server list now but there is another problem. When we try to join it says ''The game session is no longer available'' and I don't seem to make it work. If it helps, I am on WiFi and my friend uses Ethernet.
-
Unfortunately I don't have a definite fix for this. I'd suggest you connect via Ethernet as well if you're at all able to. Make sure everyone has a direct tunnel to everyone else in Hamachi, not a relay tunnel. Also, switch around who's hosting, try everyone. I have the same error in my LAN and it will not work if PC1 hosts and PC2 tries to join, but it works flawlessly when it's the other way around.
Other than that, I can only suggest to search the web for other things to try. -
YaF3li Alright, thanks for the help so far, appreciate it!
