    yeah as I said in the title, every time I open the game the resolution gets reset or something and the game is just black screened and when it happened the first time I restarted the game and I could fix it myself but now it's just a black screen, and I can't access the in-game settings or anything like that

      How to fix black screen on launch?
      Go in the bootstrapper command prompt (the console opened when you start the game)
      and paste this (right click) r_fullscreen 2; vid_restart then press Enter
