Why B03 isn't in plutonium?
-
Ok so the first couple results when I search up bo3 in plutonium, there are some links to a form on here where they "discussed" why it wasn't added and it just doesn't make sense to me.
First of all one of the main arguments is piracy. No, in my opinion, it jut doesn't make any sense why you would even bring that up because isn't that what the plutonium launcher is? For example you can still buy Bo2 on steam for $59 but you can get it free on plutonium minus the campaign.
Now the second point is that b03 has everything Pluto has which is the server browser and full mod support which I doubt does nothing because of the amount of hackers.
And the last reason I saw which was confusing to me is that b03 is a "newer cod"..... it's 7 years old, do you think Activision are spending any resources on b03 when there is Vanguard, Cold War and Warzone to take care of, not to mention the new MW game and Warzone 2. Plus there are soo much hackers in those game, there is no reason for Activision to try to remove hackers from a 7 year old game instead of the new ones they have brought out.
So can you Staff please tell me why it isn't added >_>

Neon_Square they are gonna sued by Activision and plutonium will be shutdown

Neon_Square Did you just compare mod support with cheating? Modding the game (custom maps/weapons) is not the same as using an aimbot to ruin the game for others.
And no. The point of Plutonium isn't piracy. I'm not sure why they provide torrents but the main goal is to create a custom experience while playing the games by adding mod support and dedicated servers. Both of which BO3 has. They won't create a BO3 client just to create an anticheat
And Activision is still making money off of BO3 which means Activision is definitely still supporting it. Just because a game is old doesn't mean that it's abandoned by a company, especially if it's making money

I know it is a necro, but I have to copy and paste the same goddamn message regarding BO3.
- Activision still milks the living shit out of the game, they still get money from the game.
- Activision still supports BO3, because of the profits, and would send Cease and Desist note if any of the devs have uploaded BO3 on Plutonium. Activision does not care/does not support/does not get any profits from the games that are supported on here.
- There's nothing to add in BO3 in Plutonium, except for an anticheat and better RCE preventions.
If Activision stops support for BO3, then I think Plutonium devs could add BO3, but that's still a big maybe from both Activision and Plutonium.
