Does \connect work in T5 zombies the same in as it did in T4 zombies?

So playing with friends in T5 zombies requires a port forward or by using a server somebody else has already created? Can I not just invite someone?

largepoutine you can invite people, you may have to forward port 3074 udp tho.

Ecklipser because there is a bug with zombie servers right now that won't let me and others connect to any servers so i can't verify this.

Dss0 yea it's obviously bugged but why didn't you say so an hour ago.. the devs have been beating around the bush and acting stupid meanwhile we've been trying to connect to servers that don't even work for the past hour

largepoutine what are you talking about? the devs have been working on hotfixes for these bugs since t5 was released... and i'm also not gonna bother them with some stupid question about the connect command until connecting in general is fixed..
if this is going to slow for you you may wanna go back to steam for now.
