Crashes when downloading game settings

RedrumRobin have the same problem. doesnt matter how i download the game ive tried anything. steam and torrent, differnt langugages everything and still this freeze

Okay so i might have found a solution but it may not work for everyone but you can still try.
I pressed Windows Key + R and typed %localappdata%
then just completely deleted plutonium folder and re installed Blackops and multiplayer on steam. Then just reinstall plutonium and i manage to get pass the "Download Game Settings" pop up and was able to play.
I'm guessing that by deleting the plutonium folder in local app data completely wipes the corrupted game settings and replaces it with the correct file(s)?
(for people who used the torrent, I would just delete the torrent downlaod and redownload a fresh new one?)

Mine does this then the game crashes, I then get a message from my Mcafee saying 'a virus has just been blocked' funny thing is the game worked when I first loaded it up...

SCR33BO So I don't have MacAfee but I have Malwarebytes and it did this to me before as well. In the Malwarebytes app I have I was able to see the quarantined file it blocked and I was able to put it in the "Allow List" section, I don't know if you have that on MacAfee but you can try that if there's an option.
For me the game was able to boot up after that.

UPDATE its starting to freeze again on Downloading Game Settings pop up again. I've re entered a lot of cmd prompts like via max fps, max packets, fov, etc. and it started to freeze again. I'm guessing if you enter a lot of cmds and/or progress through the game, it'll make more game settings, obviously, and it starts to freeze again.
Maybe its just a server thing on pluto or the memory is getting overloaded with info perhaps?

RedrumRobin I sorted that mcafee out but im still getting the same download settings crash, have deleted and reinstalled pluto and also the game.

I'm having the same problem have look into console.log file and it has these 2 lines near the bottom:
Failed to fetch DW file 'mpdatabk0000': err 1000 'BD_NO_FILE'. (381ms)
and
WARNING: Could not find zone 'C:\Games\pluto_t5_full_game\zone\english\en_ui_viewer_mp.ff'thought id post these incase anyone can make anything of it there are other errors and files failed to load but not sure how relevant they are. please up date if you manage to fix

same issue. can't fix it. ive been trying everything i can with console commands by copying and pasting before the game crashes. this happened after i unlocked my stats. i deleted and redownloaded and still nothing. Game is officially broken for me unless you guys found answers
