Can't join friends in BO2

I can't join friends through the BO2 friends list, it just says joining game session then error: unable to join session. Another of my friends was able to join the host so it isn't the host's fault. Help!

Canaanite It usually takes a few attempts, but keep at it and reset your games a few times. Me and my buddies have to try and join a few times before anything and than after you do it once it should start to work from there.
