After I opened the game for the first time, i changed the settings and after I clicked apply, the screen turns black with the INPUT NOT SUPPORTED floating and I can't see the game.

Felparo maybe you set more HZ than what your monitor supports? seems like logical thing to me.
you can try resetting settings.
