Oihanix I've been able to play with friends just fine. Check to see if both you and your friends have the latest version of plutonium, which should be r3226. If not, have both of you run your plutonium.exe file to update, and try then.
It could also help to see if any of you have a VPN active, I think that might prevent you from connecting with each other as well.
