Can't join any Zombie games / not even play with friends

Whenever I open the Plutonium client (plutonium.exe), the first window pops up followed by the second one. My friends can play private zombie games and even join other people / each other's games, but I can't do neither of those.
I just downloaded the official torrent, double clicked the .exe and that's as far as it got. I suspect this whole "Running in LAN mode" screen is what makes it unable to connect via the Internet, else I just downloaded the .torrent so I don't know what else is there to update (referring to the first screen.
Any chance I could help some help on that? Thank you so much for your time and patience!
P.D: My core version is r1733 and my launcher version is 2.2.1

DommyDaddy69 delete plutonium.exe and plutonium.new.exe if they exist and download the launcher from here: https://cdn.plutonium.pw/updater/plutonium.exe
