MW3 Help changing the fire rate of the M16A4

GreySkeleton If you're only trying to edit the M16, then you don't need the other weapons in there. What you can do is just copy the common_mp dump to zonetool, rename the folder to mod, put the sounds that I sent you in (obviously you'll need the loader_sound folder too from localized_common_mp), open the iw5_m16_mp file and change the fireType value to 0 and then in your csv, type weapon,iw5_m16_mp and then build your mod
Bubbles ,GreySkeleton I also ran into difficulties when creating mod.ff. even if I add sounds Bubbles, Zontull collects either with an error or normally, but when you start the game with the mod, a crash occurs. Could any of you post ready-made config files for weapons and everything you need with mod.csv. So that I just have to collect them in mod.ff? I'll be very thankful.

as Black-maks said i ran into an error again

GOOD NEWS Black-maks
i've been able to modify the weapons that plutonium added (Aks-74u and Intervention)
I have only modified the reserve ammo of both weapons, it's a basic edit but at least is something
I will try to modify the base game weapons and see how it goes -
UPDATE
Sadly it only works with those two weapons, when i try with the others zonetool just crashes with the same error like the m16 mentioned a few posts before
I tried everything but it just crashes
I will not close this topic and I hope that in the future the weapons can be modded
if anyone reading this topic knows about this or how to do this please let me know -

loaded_sound,weapons/shells/shell_bounce_lg01.wav although I specified it in mod.csv and it was in the mod folder as well as other files.
maybe Bubbles can help us

maybe Bubbles can help usBlack-maks I also tried and got the error, but it might just be something on our end. I could try to give it another go today and report back if I work something out. One thing I've noticed is that it mostly happens when you add the weapon file. I say mostly because I was able to change the Desert Eagle model to the CoD4 gold Desert Eagle version without any issues

and as you say i also noted that the error only occurs when you add the weapondef file, in my case it only happened with SMG´S,AR´S and pistols
LMG ,Snipers, Shotguns and Machine Pistols didn´t gave an error
but when i put the mod.ff file and run my dedicated server though the fs_game command, the game just crashes

Bubbles yep it always crashes no matter what i do
i guess there's no way to make this work -

Beamxrz- The issue comes from zonetool currently being unable to build under barrel attachments. Also this is a very old post. I've been using zonetool for years so I already knew how to build mods
