MW3 Black Screen and then minimizes

My MW3 launches into a black screen and then minimizes right after. I followed all the steps on the guide. The application stays there and when clicked on shows a black screen and then minimizes again.

I fixed this and will leave it up for other people running into the same issue. All I had to do was edit the plutonium config file in the player2 folder. Hit CTRL + F to bring up a window to find text. Type in fullscreen and hit next. Replace fullscreen in the document with windowed and save the document. Launch the game and edit your settings like you normally would and its fixed.
