Playing with Friends

My Friends need Plutonium T4 to play WaW I've had the game and can already play online without plutonium. How do I play with them on private games, I cant seem to add them as a friend. Do I also need to download Plutonium?

mc_coon yes you can only play with your friends if all of you play on plutonium, plutonium and steam are entirely separate.
