.dds settings

greetings fellow waw players,
i am trying to do custom textures (camos) but am having trouble converting back to iwi. i am positive it is because i didnt save the .dds correctly, since i am still able to convert a vanilla, unchanged/edited/tampered with .dds file back to .iwi.

phen6m well how are you saving it? Which dds settings do you use?

(with nvidia dds plugin) BC1 rgb 4bp no alpha
i no longer have the problem converting back to .iwi , however, the game crashes trying to read the file. i think the problem still remains with the dds settings. here is a video i recorded of my problem

phen6m does the texture have an alpha channel? if yes you need to use "dxt 5 interpolated alpha"
